Executive 1:1 Coaching
Fortnightly sessions focused on the decisions only you can make — prioritization, delegation, difficult conversations, and the operating rhythm that holds it all together.
The ways to work with Northlight — the intensive, the executive retainer, and the team workshop, each built around the same operating rhythm.
Services
Every engagement starts with the same question: what would make the next 90 days feel controlled instead of chaotic? The answer shapes which of these you need.
Fortnightly sessions focused on the decisions only you can make — prioritization, delegation, difficult conversations, and the operating rhythm that holds it all together.
A structured sprint that turns a busy leadership team into an aligned one: one scorecard, clear ownership, and a weekly cadence that replaces status meetings.
We turn your goals into a plan your team can run without you in the room — quarterly priorities, weekly rhythm, and the metrics that tell you it is working.
A letter to you
Read this before you pick an engagement
Every founder we work with arrives with a plan — the board deck, the quarterly themes, the operating cadence they redesigned twice. The plans are fine. The problem is nobody in the building will tell you when the plan is being avoided.
“The retainer paid for itself in the first quarter — not in inspiration, in the two hires I stopped making and the one I finally made well.”
If you want a cheerleader, hire one — they cost less. If you want the operating rhythm to hold without you in every room, that is the work.
Pick the engagement that matches the calendar you actually have. We will tell you which one that is on the first call.
The principal
Northlight Coaching
P.S. — The intensive is deliberately capped at four leaders a quarter. When the quarter is full, the waitlist is the only door.
How it works
A 30-minute call to map where the pressure actually comes from — and whether coaching is the right lever. You leave with a clear read, whether or not we work together.
Fortnightly coaching sessions plus a team intensive. We pick three priorities, build the weekly cadence, and put the scorecard in place.
The goal of every engagement is independence: a team that runs the rhythm, reviews the scorecard, and escalates the right things without a coach in the room.
FAQ
Most 1:1 engagements run in quarterly commitments with fortnightly sessions; team intensives are priced per sprint. Every engagement is scoped on the discovery call so you know the full cost before you commit to anything.
Leaders typically feel the difference inside the first month — the weekly rhythm alone removes most firefighting. Structural change, how the team decides without you, lands around day 60 of the 90-day sprint.
Both. Sessions run remotely by default; team intensives work best in person and we travel for them. Everything else — scorecards, cadence documents, session notes — lives in your shared workspace.
Consultants deliver answers; coaching builds your team's ability to produce them. We bring frameworks and outside perspective, but the decisions and the ownership stay with you — that is what makes the change permanent.
